Emergency Scenarios, Drills, and Simulations

May 20 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

We are excited to announce that our Sandy City Emergency Manager, Amy DeNeff, will be running our tabletop emergency drills for our community! These will be discussion-based sessions to discuss different roles and responses during emergencies.

Open to all Sandy Community 27 residents 16 years and older.

This event will occur at Lone Peak Elementary School from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

This event is an excellent opportunity to meet your emergency preparedness leaders, learn how our community works in an emergency, and better prepare your family!

Please join us and meet your neighbors and Sandy’s Emergency Manager!

Amy DeNeff has served on the Sandy Police Force for over 20 years and currently serves as the Sandy City Emergency Manager.

As the emergency liaison for Sandy City, Amy works with local and federal agencies to prepare Sandy City employees and residents for large-scale disasters.

A long-time resident of Sandy City, Amy understands the importance of preparing for the unexpected after losing her home to a devastating fire.

You can attend monthly emergency preparedness meetings with Amy every third Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. To learn more about Sandy City Emergency Management, visit www.sandy.utah.gov.
